VCYR Endorsed Candidates
When the Ventura County Young Republicans endorse, we are saying that a candidate shares our values, understands our communities, and has a real path to win. Our endorsements are not handed out lightly. Each one reflects a deliberate process and the approval of a two-thirds majority of our membership.
A VCYR endorsement is a signal of trust. It tells voters across Ventura County that a candidate has earned the backing of the next generation of conservative leaders.
How we Endorse

Request a Nomination
A campaign submits an endorsement request by emailing our team, or a VCYR member may nominate a candidate for consideration.

Candidate Q&A
After our endorsement committee reviews all applicants, we will invite the candidates to meet our members and speak to them directly.

Membership Vote
Time for a vote! Our endorsements are voted on by all dues paying members, and require a two-thirds majority in order to receive the endorsement.
