Who We are
Our Story
Founded in 1940 - best described by the Ventura County Star as "A group of rabble rousers changing Ventura County Politics..."
The Ventura County Young Republicans (VCYR) is a dynamic network of young professionals in their 20s and 30s who are passionate about leadership, community, and conservative values. We’re more than just a political group — we’re a social and professional club for individuals who care about the future of Ventura County and want to make a difference, both locally and nationally.
Our members come from diverse industries — from tech and law to education and small business — but are united by shared values, a commitment to personal growth, and a belief in the power of civic engagement.
Whether you're looking to expand your network, support Republican causes, or just connect with like-minded peers, VCYR is your place to lead, grow, and belong.
